if you have a mod that completely overhauls combat why do you need to press a key to turn on that feature

BetterCombat handles it muchhh better and Daedelus hasn't ported it to 1.16

also its pretty basic combat ive played games with similar but much more difficult combat its immersive and adds a style to the game rather then just punchpunchpunchpunchpunch i win yay

It conflicts with several mods already included in the modpack
It adds too many things which need to be explained to the player somehow

i learned how to use it by looking at the 5 seconds clips sure its hard to actually master it but thats apart of the game itd be dumb if you where op at combat from the start

those two things are reason enough to not add it

we would have to, to some extent, rebuild the modpack around the mod

astral sorcery doesn't work properly with it
i think there's already a healthbar mod which we would have to remove
it crashes the game when paired with other third person mods
many of the things the mod adds don't seem to work

BetterCombat is in medieval 1.19 fabric & we've had no issues with it that couldn't be fixed easily
