Luna Pixel's World Sharing

Our modpacks don't support any mods that add singleplayer hosting / world sharing because we already provide free world sharing. The 'Essential' mod is therefore incompatible.

To share your world using our own world hosting, click the 'Open to Lan' or 'Share World' button in the game menu when in a singleplayer world, and share the world.

It will give you an address, like magma-cube.mc.lunapixel.gg, which your friends can use to connect directly to your world as if it were a server!

We still highly suggest not to play through LAN as LAN is untested and unreliable. Using it will cause longterm damage to your world.

There is no reason to use LAN, as we support both paid and free methods of hosting a server the normal way.

Hi hi, Im having some issues and Id love some help. Im playing this in multiplayer: our set island was in a snowy plains, we didnt really care so we kept building and expanding until we noticed crops just dont grow well or barely at all. So I went in all directions hundreds of blocks until I finally found a plains biome and were restarting there. Only problem is that even with bed respawn point set when we die we respawn to the location of the og island. Its obviously too far to set the new point through L. Is there anything I can do to fix this??

Hey there! I'm having some issues with getting the mod pack to work with a server all the files and mods work and are there, however, when I load into my server it spawns me as if it was a regular world. When I go to make a skyblock it just puts it in a random location sometimes on the ground or in a cave, another video I've watch ed to make sure I did everything properly seemed to do the same. I am using the server pack for the server. Thanks in advance!

If its not generating it means that your host either uses its own that you need to configure but its working so its your host

just fiddled with it a couple of times removing the config and adding it back and by the magic of tech it worked! so it was just the server prop not wanting to be read

my best guess for it tho was my host was just forcing whatever props that it had over the mod pack ones

If this command was run in response to your question/issue, it is likely because switching away from the launcher you are currently using would fix your problem.
From our experience, the most stable launcher by far is ATLauncher, also known as ATL. Keep in mind that ATL is NOT related to TLauncher in any way, and is not a cracked launcher.

To install ATL, do the following:
1. Go to https://atlauncher.com/download. If you are on MacOS, then choose the "Jar" version under the "Other" tab, this is important as OSX WILL crash the game on Mac.
2. Install and run the setup, then open the program.
3. Login to your Microsoft account that owns the Java Edition of Minecraft from the Accounts tab on the right. This process is 100% safe, as it goes directly through Microsoft. ATL doesn't see your account credentials.
4. Go to the Packs tab on the right, then click "Curseforge" on the left.
5. Search the modpack you wish to download.
6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

Hi, I just installed this modpack, and have tried to play it in singleplayer. I was spawnt on the i assume starter island with the diamond block, big dark oak tree with a swing. However theres no shop, no chest with lava or water, and barrier blocks surrounding my island so i can't seem to expand out to the islands close by that may have water or lava. Is there quests i have to do to unlock these things? Did i do the wrong settings in making the world? Like do i need to add the extra chest on world gen?

Any help would be amazing thanks!

Fix: Press L, even if you’re solo with no team. You then get to select the type of island you want to begin with. Pretty self explanatory after pressing L.

How do you get all the mods? Modrinth tells me to click the Mod Link Category 1 and 2 Buttons, but there is no Category 2.

Hi guys,
I really like this modpack and wanted to run a server on my vps to play together with my friends, but I can't manage to run the modpack correctly. The server is starting and I can join, but this is not a skyblock world. the lobby is a default world and after joining a team I can see the island but I am not spawning on it and the surrounding is a normal world, too.

pretty sure something is wrong with my docker compose file.

I tried adding

Quick question!
So I have a steam deck.
Every modpack I’ve tried by your guys has been running perfectly!
However this one loads up and shows the LunaPixelStudios Logo and then before it opens the main menu of the game crashes:/
I’ve not altered the modpack in anyway and I’m running the current up to date release of the modpack. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Tried repairing. Everything I’ve tried in the past in other situations.
Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you all so much:)

We don't support Aternos nor can we assist you with using it for reasons listed below;

  1. You are unable to add / edit the mods to implement a fix that can be game changing at times.
  2. We are unable to control the updates of our packs on Aternos, nor ever will.
  3. The hosting is not strong enough to host our packs on there without it crashing every so often.
  4. We have other free methods that work much better than Aternos does. Run the !ws command and the !server command in #bots for more information on how to host a server for free.

6. Click "Install". Then, follow the on-screen directions.
7. Go to the Instances tab, and click "Play" on the modpack you downloaded. If you ever see an "Update" button on the instance, click it.

To transfer your Curseforge world to ATL, simply right click the modpack on Curseforge, or click the 3 dots, then click "Open Folder". Copy the Saves folder, then click "Open Folder" on ATL and paste the Saves folder there. Do the same with the XaerosMinimap folder, or the Journeymap folder, to transfer over any waypoints you've created.
Because ATL downloads the exact same files as Curseforge does, your world will be the exact same and you will be able to join the same servers. ATL also works without an internet connection (after you've installed the modpack, of course), and does not have any bloat from Overwolf. You are free to uninstall both Overwolf and Curseforge with ATL installed.

I’m trying to install the mod with Modrinth and at first it opened. I installed all the proper mods and resources but now it always stops at an error for ftbquests and the filters not being able to supported?

I have the one installed that is linked, I tried other versions and it never works.

Currently LPS packs are not being updated on the Modrinth site, and as such are outdated. This is while the devs figure out a way to automate uploads of the pack properly.

Until the packs can be properly updated, we recommend using ATL (use !alternates in #bots for further info on the installation process ) or Prism launcher. You can download the CurseForge version of our packs on these launchers while still being able to make instances from Modrinth versions of other packs not owned by us.

Please note this does not apply to individual mod projects of developers at LPS.

Moon World Sharing servers are likely currently at capacity

If you or your friend are receiving an error such as "An error occurred in Luna", or "Connection refused: no further information" when trying to play through "Open to LAN" or "Share World", it's likely that Luna's servers (used for world sharing) are currently full. We don't have a way to know when slots on our servers free up, but you are welcome to try again later.

We understand and recognize that this may be inconvenient, so we recommend in this case to host or rent your own server. Self-hosting is free, for more information on supported hosting options, type !server in #bots.

If you'd prefer an alternate world sharing mod such as Essential over the previous methods, risks of it are outlined in !ea, as well as how to use it if you accept the risks and void of support.

This command does NOT change or know if they are full or not, this is something ran as the most common issue.

⚠️ Essential Mod Not Supported

We strongly recommend against using Essential with our modpacks, and we add a warning screen during modpack startup containing the following message by default. A free world-sharing alternative is already built-in called Luna - click Share World in the game menu to use it.

Why we don't support Essential:

  • Technical issues: We've received multiple user reports of problems when combining Essential with our modpacks, including reports of world corruption. While there is no conclusive evidence of Essential as the definite cause, we do not have the development or support capacity to resolve issues potentially caused by it.

  • Security concerns: Essential's auto-updater introduces potential security risks that are outside of our control.

  • Ethics: We object to Essential's inclusion of in-game currency and microtransactions in an otherwise free modding environment.

If you choose to use Essential anyway

Please understand that you do so at your own risk and will not be eligible for support from our team. To remove this warning, you can open your modpack instance folder, navigate to config/crash_assistant/problematic_mods_config.json, and under essential-container, change should_crash_on_startup from true to false. On newer modpack versions, this is replaced by a migrated .jexl in the same location, which you can also open in a text editor then simply delete the section for Essential.

Yesterday I wanted to play again, but when I updated the mods through Curseforge, many of them said they weren't compatible with the launcher. After installing a clean version of Skyblock, the game crashes when I interact with the furnace.

Why might this be happening?
