Ok so, I have been thinking about how to implement more structures in the pack and want to heavily rework recipes in decorative stuff such as yuushya and other mods to supplement this
The idea is the decorative blocks will have elements of realism to their cost, but with the added benefit of a scrap-recycle recipe being added to allow you to loot the buildings themselves to the ground if desired
So my poll to yall is:
@Helium to clarify a bit, building blocks themselves (unless very industrial or higher tech) will largely be unaffected, this is mostly for decorative elements to be made expensive and also given scrapping recipes to retrieve materials as loot

Ok so! Since the poll was so close and I've had time to mull over a possible solution most of yall will be happy with, here is the idea:
Structural blocks will (for the most part) be unaffected by these changes
Decorative styled blocks will have the option to be cut down into either their scrap items or matter balls
The existing recipe for matter balls will be removed as a result
Various types of matter balls will be introduced to keep exchanges to their own "value" level

Corporea is sneaky good if you know how to use it.

But usually it barely sees use, if at all, cause it's post-end, so it always gets replaced by whatever convenient storage solution is bundled into the pack.
Not in Compression. Corporea is super early, and it's actually being used. Like, a lot. Very pleasant to see.
And by making it able to interact with ae2, it stays relevant later on.

This change is pretty minor but it allows you to get to an aiot with 1 conversion cycle of a pure daisy and drops the iron requirement! Oh and a recipe to smash an aiot back into tools for any usecases yall have in existing factories.

@Helium Hello! Big announcement to let yall know whats going on.
The port is still being worked on and is getting close. The things that are yet to be done are naturally half of the entire dev time cause scope creep happened but yaknow how that is.
In terms of actual port date I have a few things happening at the same time, at the end of this month I am moving across the country to Washington and likely wont have proper pc access till the start of May. That said some time in May is my target to get the update out to yall along with something else being attached to this update.
For transparency without spoiling much, the thing that ended up pushing the update forward a lot was world gen. It's quite revamped in comparison to 1.19.2 and we are still waiting on a few things (including me finishing up a fairly large structure). Which is one of those things that needs to ship with the update.
I do sincerely appreciate yall having patience with me for this port, I am trying to make this something truly magical.
I will do my best to keep yall updated and showcase more in #1124862275468148888 as more is able to be shown.

Since enchanting books are gone, we now have a new way to "enchant" your tools.
Just combine them with the right material in the smithing table to apply one level of an enchant.
Amethyst gives Silk Touch, Fluix Crystals give a level of Efficiency (yes, you can reapply it) and mini-tnt gives...Excavating?
It's a new enchantment that allows the tool to dig in a 3x3 area at the cost of being slower. Crouching will deactivate the effects.
AIOTs get unique visuals when enhanced this way!
In order, Efficiency, Silktouch, Excavating, Efficiency+Excavating, Silktouch + Excavating.
Moving on to Red String.
A new feature has been implemented where red string is rendered with higher thickness, making it easier to see.
By default, it will have higher visibility, although it's configurable client-side.

With Create Aeronautics being a 1.21.1 mod, it will never come to compression. So in a single day I made this abomination. It has GregTech Modern Industrialization. You start in the aether, there is no overworld.

@Modpack Announcements Good news and bad news! The spawn crater had to be reduced in size in order to actually load in. This structure is now 10% the total block volume
Good news is, it actually generate. Block drops are increased to compensate for this loss.
May 15th Compression 1.20.1 will be officially released
As for @Server Member : [Helium] the spawn point will be moved. The world will still exist as is. Porting of the server will be announced separately once completed.
