#"Floating" cage animation not working properly for modded mob

Mod Version: 3.1.10

I am trying to make some compatibility fixes for a pack that I am playing. In particular, I am working with cages and the Moth from Estrogen.

Everything seems to be working fine except the mob's animation when it is in the cage. If I set the animation to "floating", it will be raised off the ground of the cage but will not move up and down.

I'll give that a try, and I have tried land to see if there a difference, but not air. So I'll give that a try as well.

Okay, tried "air", same result. Tried "hovering", that prevented the game from loading. I guess I could also try "hover" ๐Ÿค”

hm should be whats on the wiki or what one of the mod buildin data files use

Floating is what is on the wiki and what was in the stuff on your github. I am reasonably certain that is the correct keyword. Hover did not work either. I also set up a test environment with just the neccessary mods and got the same result. I then added whisperwoods, because the moth in whisperwoods is set to "floating" as well. It renders in the air, off the floor of the cage, but does not float up and down either. Oddly enought though, while the moth from Estrogen is completely still, the moth from whisperwoods at least flaps its wings. Must have something to do with the way they do their animations.
