I am having issues placing both modded and vanilla flowers and saplings inside the Flower Box. I tried Spruce and oak saplings and they didn't work. I tried Cornflower, Blue orchin and Lilac. Lilac was the only one working but it looked pink instead of purple which is also a little odd. I don't know what or how to acces my "Latest.log" file. Playing with 1.20.1

Flower box accepts Tal flowers

Hey there, Im the one who send them to you. I find this very strange, as in 1.19.2 every flower (modded and vanilla) and sapling work perfectly. Why the change?

That is very sad. I love the way they work in 1.19.2, and theyre one of my favorite decoration blocks. If they in future versions have been very limited to what, they can store, I unfortunately wont really have a need for it.

Why the change? I mean, to me it looks like a major downgrade from what it was

it is more unique, instead of being 3 flower pots in once they are a flower pot for tall flowers with unique assets

this madethem more fitting with other blocks as the old ones had the flowers be way to smalls and pixel scale was way off

I really like how they work in 1.19.2. Would you consider making something similair to that? I really love the combination of colors, I can make, when I can put 3 plants on the same one. And even plants, that wouldnt go in the vanilla flower pot. To me, thats what makes this flower box unique and why I almost cant make a build without it.

I can see the positives with the new way, but to me it just doesnt cover, what it already did

Hey there! If you prefer the old way of 3 flowers in one flower box, there is an option in the common configs under "Building" for the flower box to get that back. Just disable "Simple Mode".

Bump, seems some render issues with Simple Mode off
you can place small flowers in the box but it shows nothing, even there's only Supplementaries and Moonlight Lib
Mod version: supplementaries-1.21-3.0.33-beta-neoforge
