1. where in Japan
2. do you speak English or Japanese or both

Cities (not just Tokyo, but bigger cities in general) have a lot of shitty part time job opportunities like working at a convenience store or mcd or Uber eats delivery etc
⇒ for this, you need to speak some basic Japanese (really not keigo or anything, cause they'll make you memorize stuff, so just have basic conversational skills)

Otherwise, if you only speak English, there are plenty of English teaching jobs
Either in big cities where there's a big demand for them (both teaching in schools/cram schools/English schools and teaching privately)
Or in small towns where there are no foreigners at all
・middle sized cities are in a weird spot cause there's usually a foreigner or two who is there through a school program and who gets all of these jobs as the local foreigner

If you speak both Japanese and English at an advanced level, most places will want you

If English isn't your language tho, it heavily depends
There's a lot of opportunities for Chinese-Japanese speakers or Korean-Japanese speakers, but much less for a "random" language from the pov of Japan, like Dutch for example

French is pretty popular tho (although mostly developed around the Tokyo area)

yeah shizuoka (hamamatsu city) and gunma have a very large brazilian population

back in the day during the japanese economic bubble, a lot of japanese people were encouraged to move abroad, and brazil was one of the countries they went to
but after being there for 2~3 generations , they realized that brazil actually isn't that great
and a lot of the descendants came back to japan to work for car factories
and there are big factories in shizuoka and gunma
so they have their brazilian communities there

hamamatsu (in shizuoka) is actually quite OP
the city center has signs in portuguese and there are many portuguese schools
and the brazilian embassy is right next to the hamamatsu city hall
