Hey, I finnished the magnus quest some time ago, but since I didn’t enjoy it as much I didn’t do the follow up stuff to get the LomL Portal, I would very much like to get the portal now and I don’t know how I can continue the quest, I might have deleted the character that did the magnus quest before, how can I continue/ find out which character did the quest etc.

You will have to check the quest in the main quest tab (O) of each character. if one of these has lower amounts of quests under the Magnus One questline, you did the questline on that one and can continue
If none of your characters have any progress yet, you will have to start from the beginning sadly

No, dont look at the active quests on the right
you have to actually open the quest window and look for the main quest tab, then check the quest number for the magnus questline
