I've been grinding at Honglim Base for about 45min-1hr and I've managed to get the boss to appear at the flag but for some reason, the flame doesnt after clearing the mob, so I'm unable to get the Fox mechanic to appear. Is this bugged or am I missing something?

I dont have a video unfortunately.
All I know is I clear the first 2 mobs, the Sharpshooter appears (Which I assume to be the totem/flag boss), I kill him but no blue flames appear. I've went through 3-4 cycles on multiple different flags, and I have no luck on either of them. I also tried 2 different channels.

The boss is literally called "Fox Bandit Boss", if that's what you mean

However, i would still like a video of your clear, because the last time i helped someone with this issue, their clearspeed was too low to spawn the mobs
Basically, apparently you need to kill a certain amount of mobs in a certain time, or the bosses wont spawn
If youre on EU server we can test this out together as well, just to confirm my suspicious about the issue
Because many people are affected by this, there is even a bug thread on the issue

That makes sense. I thought I was clearing them pretty fast. Before the next mob spawns, but maybe it needs to be faster. I'll try to whip up a video

also remember that human damage addons work there too, for some extra damage
I would say try again with better addons + combo, and see if you can improve your clearspeed
