#Tracking Players

There isn’t. But if you know a character name or their guild name you can still look for them
Npc in velia can ping another players location, if you know their character name and server they are in
The Black Robed NPC doesn't do that anymore.
That function got yeeted sometime last year along with the rest of the PvP changes 😂
Damn... was hoping there was at least a 3rd party tracker of some sorts.
Not to sound sus here or anything but just asking because we had a player who recently stole from guild storage and I'm making it my mission they don't get to join any guild and do the same to them as they did to us, for as long as I can help it.
Yah. That thing has been in the game for years and PA hasn't really found a way to prevent that. At least now we can fiddle with the rights that each guildie has, but no clue how to test the trustworthiness to prevent the crooks from stealing stuff.
For something like this you need to send a Ticket and ask for GM Support. Don't attempt to "track another player" yourself, as it could be seen as Harassment, regardless of the details that took place.
Send a ticket and let the Staff handle it.
We already sent a ticket but haven't gotten any response. This has happened in the past and GM support wasn't helpful either since they said it's "game mechanics".
The perms are wonky. We disabled the person's perm once we caught them emptying storage but for some reason it didn't apply. I assume they had the guild storage window opened and revoking access doesn't apply until they exit the window.
Even so, you file the ticket anyways so they have a report of it
When reports of the same type begin to add up, different pictures begin to be painted
There are game mechanics, yes, but consistent behaviors can lead down other paths
But that's for the staff to decide, which why a ticket follow up is always appropriate, even if you get the standard message (it doesn't mean they haven't taken note of the situation)
I see. What a wonky design indeed. I guess the only option is to not give people access to storage for month or so. Probably won't stick around that long just empty 1 guilds storage. But who knows in the end.
the permisons that normal member has in guild is insane really
you can empty about 90% of guild storage if wanted
The problem has peaked about year ago when trolls emptied big Ocean Hunter guilds storages and tens of billions of resources were lost
Not anymore. New members don't have any rights by default anymore since PA gave us the rights to change them.
Oh, then it is up to officers to trust on who is give permissions
Very good job from PA for the change
i remember last year when Ocean Guilds were spamming forums and reddit of the problem trolls
The weird thing is this member has been with us for almost a year. They were quiet but nothing out of the ordinary. We gave them storage access for Khan and then all of a sudden they emptied it one day.
Bad day, or pissed off or hidden troll
or mole
