I'm 1000 percent certain you get the choice to do simplified questing on your season char in Velia around lvl 20 but a friend says it never showed up. It's her first character so idk. She's in heidel now.

Simplefied crossroad appears when you meet Alustin first time and 2nd time simplefied crossroad appears when you complete Balenos quest line

So the Alustin meeting is around lvl 12

pretty sure simplified pops up after you gone through the quest lines first time al the way through balenos

Also you need to have at least 1 character in your family that has completed one of the starting quest lines in whole (up to start of Valencia)

So Simplefied cannot appear on new players

Small correction, with this patch, simplified questline is now also available for normal type characters

also Simplefied crossroad is one of the worst options for new or medium player
It will not make your gaming any easier... and in long run it just makes worse

Leveling up by doing quests is so easy these days and Winter Mountains starting zone is fastest
