Hello! It's me again, I'm slowly learning more about this game and it's great! Though I had a question about a quest. I'm wanting to complete my adventure journal but I don't know if I should complete this quest: Also If I complete it, will it lock me into Succession? I'm enjoying my Awakening Sorceress and don't want to switch...

No. It won't lock you into Succession. Definitely worth doing though because you'll get a free skill preset coupon.
