Me and my group group keep trying to run upper gyfins. We are in the same guild and everytime we get started another group shows up and grinds on top of us. We’ve switched servers multiple times already and when we tried to Dec their guilds they just decline or the GM isn’t on to accept it. This is ruining my hour and buffs. I just want to play the game.

Upper gyfins is the only 5 man spot unless you do dungeons
So only logical answer is to out grind them which won’t work if they grind the rotation backwards
Could go red which runs the risk of losing crystals or gear downgrading

Honestly the situation you faced was kinda unique, a group following you across servers sounds pretty rough
If every last server was occupied for gyfin then that’s pretty unlucky
I personally would’ve logged off onto an Alt to maintain buffs (or switch to tagged character) and went to check if the spot was free across a few servers
Idk the situation but a group being able to know which server you went to after hopping doesn’t sound normal
With the amount of servers there are I feel like some had to be free or you just had bad timing

Pretty obvious risk of asking permanent red players to "help out" a random new players on pvp matter.

It is like calling gangsters for back you up in courtyard and hoping that asking nicely is enough to stay safe from violence.
Having only 1 character has that problem, that you will lose buffs all the time when you get unlucky or try to maximize the play time on 1 character. Having alts is always better than just 1 character. Allowing you to save time on server swaps or afking so that personal buffs would not go to waste.
But now that you dont have 2nd character, it is good time to make one and wait out that Gyfins will calm down.
Anyways, no need to blame others over an idea, when you did not think it through yourself.
PvP is always** one of the options**, but not forced option.
You can always try to out grind invaders or grief kill untill they give up. No one will last if you are smart with the grieffing.
Or simply change the spot to another.
There are many good spots in the game to play at, maybe not for 5man groups. But bdo is designed to be solo play anyways.

Deccing the guilds didnt make it a pvp matter cause they kept declining them but bringing in a red player that was suggested by an ambassador did make it a pvp matter because pvp ensued.
