Im a new player interested in
maegu and archer
,not sure which to pick and id like some advice and insight from experienced players

some preferences:
i like 1v1 and pvp too
not worried about pve much
prefer ranged classes
like high mobility and low casting time
like to keep distance and do damage and cc enemy
with that in mind can yall give ur opinions thanksss

Honestly both are good at the things you like, except 1v1. Maegu is also extremely good at low to mid level pve, while archer shines a bit more in high end pve. Archer is also extremely strong in mass pvp, while maegu is no longer as strong as him.
For 1v1, both classes are not optimal, and are vulnerable to classes that are good at closing the gap, or have a grab. However, I would honstly put my money on a good archer rather than a good maegu when facing these classes, given enough gear. Its a bit of a gamble though
In total, both classes are definitely good choices, and play similar roles in PvP. I recommend you try out both as a trial char and see whom you vibe with more

Archer is sss tier in pvp node wars and is pretty good at pve. Not hard to play but not easy.
