Technicly "yes" but jetina gear get deactivated when you go red so it doesnt count in your stats anymore - but it can downgrade

Be sure to have crystals on to protect you and try parking an alt character at Polly’s so you can grind karma back in case of emergencies!

When you are red you can no longer equip your jetina, I thought it was only before it became PEN but it’s been so long I no longer remember off hand

i recommend to get a set of questgear also obsidian weapon from mainquest - with that you can reach enough AP to grind in Polly or pila ku for karma - with family fame - just make an old for that 2 spots so you can just swap char there and cant loose any gear bcs questgear doesnt have enhancement level

bcs the jetina stuff is done for reform level and that is once per gear slot - and when you try to enhance on normal way you get there a stone shown that give the info in the description that this item cant be enhance

It doesnt make sense why they would make it so that it can downgrade but then you cant even enhance it back

thats the info i have - if you want more info you can write a ticket - but normally you should be not able to equip it to prevent the downgrade

ive seen their jetinas downgrade from pen to tet and be stuck to reform stones again but what i havent seen is once they have used up all their quests on weapons to reform 5

We tested it back when jetina got released.
We degraded a pen jetina to tet and a tet to tri.
There was no way of enchanting it back. (I can not say if it might have changed over time but to my knowledge it did not)

But then they changed it, that also tet can not be equiped anymore while negative karma (pen can be equiped)
Even after downgrading.
So... it is stuck on tet, because you can not equip it to degrade it anyway.

Overall the rest of the infos given here are mostly right.
It can degrade, tet can not be equiped.
Pen can always be equiped
There is no way to pen it again

Overall pa's gear logic was always simple.
"Not degradeable = not equipable for reds"
(Exept for base fallen god and god-ayed)

But this jetina was a super random, useless confusing thing. Mostly because the non jetina or the pen tuvala version works fine.

My c20 kzarka was a jetina pen and it downgraded to a tet c20 and I can enhance it back to pen

But my pen kutum that was jetina says the same thing as my tet kzarka c20 that downgraded from a jetina kzarka c20
