Question regarding tagging Character's and lifeskilling

Hey guys! new player here, my main is a woosa and I want to tag a shai. But i do want to focus on lifeskilling. i saw somebody mention you can't lifeskill on your tagged character? Is this true? if so, what is best to do, level up my life skills on my main woosa? and use my shai for other purposes? I would rather not make a whole new character just for lifeskilling. Thanks in advance guys!!!!!

yes you shouldn't lifeskill on a tagged char because of the trade item restrictions

(yes lifeskill does produce those sometimes) 😛 XD

so you can either use your main to lifeskill or use another character for it

if you don't want to make a lifeskill character, then do it on Woosa
Though if you have the Shai, you can continue on there, since even tagged they're still two characters

It is highly recommend to have a separate life skiller to be honest and not tag it for the above mentioned reasons. Also tagged chars will always share location for example you go life skilling on your tagged char, you grinder will also be there if you swap to it. It is truly inconvenient to have two chars in the same place when they have completely different functions. It would probably work if you have 2 good horses and a Celestial Horse whistle on both (infinite distance horse p2w horse calls.

Okay!!! Thank you all!!! I'll keep leveling my lifeskill on my woosa then ❤️ Is there anything i should be aware o to NOT do on my shai since i plan on tagging he? a lot of guides on how to do it but not too much on warnings or what to not do 😦

Well if you want to avoid PvP on your life skill char, leave it at lvl 49 and don't do the Black Spirit quest which enables PvP and leveling above 50.

sorry if this is a dumb question! i'm new to all this, but is there a reason to avoid pvp on your chracter with higher life skills? Do you lose something or something like tht?

Probably not, but for example PvP among horse trainers for horse capturing spots isn't unheard of. Also heard it happen in the popular herb gathering spots during life skill xp boost events.

But character under level won't have all skills or passive buffs unlocked which might affect some aspects of life skilling like hunting where you want high critical hit chance and damage.
