How do Alts work in this game

I dont get ALTs in this game - new player

I just finished my first season with Maegu and have timepieced a Lahn and a Sage. And have a few questions mainly what really is the benefit of having multiple alts. In other mmos I played mainly for example more alts ment more income as you could do the weekly raids multiple times.

Questions:
1.) I have full pen on my maegu how do I actually get the same equip on my alts ? Weapons seamed definitly different.

2.) Can I grind PVE with multiple classes? Lets say grind one hour on my maegu main for a certain drop and than switch to my Lahn and grind the same stuff to progress my account.

3.) What do I work on first after the season ?

4.) Does it even make sense to have multiple chars on high gearscore. Or is it better to funel and focus all my resources on one char ?

Alts are usefull for:
Having them on World Bosses so you just can swap to them then a boss spawns - dont really need gear

Getting Energy - you can level up nodes for small drop loot buff to level 20 - 10 % bonus
also then you wanna buy stuff from Patrigio night vendor - you need to pay 50 energy to see an offer at him
sometimes i trading in 200 energy for a 50 energy pots - yes i can buy it also for silver and its not expensive but then i have nothing to do with the energy why not

Lifeskill should be splitted from main char - later might you wanna grind compass - and need to go hystria - then you want to lifeskill - even just might to trade in cooking boxes - leaving hystria just for that is annoying - so you just can swap to your lifeskiller - i have depend on the lifeskill diffrent chars

also there are sometimes dailies ppl like to do that dont require gear:
as example ppl doing the daily at Lara where you just need to make some dough for an item that is needed for Manos Accessory crafting
or the daily for a material that you need for crafting a sailing boat or the fragette

Also alts are simple extra storage slots

then on events then you need to do a quest every day just putting a char there is much easier

Bcs i played every season i have many chars with season gear - i even grinding with them on lower spot - as example i want more as just one infinity pot - and i have the same grind speed on a spot like Kagtum with my alt as with my main bcs they are oneshot anyway

1. you got one narchillan gear this season as reward - also you can trade in once per account a full pen naru gear at fughar for another set of narchillan - i personally dont think you need to equip every char so high - just waste of silver - with other seasons you get another sets of tuvala and just can use it for the chars you also want to grind with

then you improve your main - you can also tag your main with another class and copy the gear to the second class - both chars share the gear and the position you are - important here - tradining is limited on tagged chars - one more point to seperate the lifeskill char completly from main

3. after the season you exchange your
Chest for Rednose at jetina
Gloves for Bhegs
Awakening for Dande
Sub for Kutum

With the Jetina method (https://grumpygreen.cricket/exchange-boss-gear/) you make your pieces to pen BESIDe the kutum - there is enough to make it Reform level 4 !! stats are beside one single number the same as pen - so dont waste silver on making it pen for now

From Magnus mainquest you take the Pen Griffon Helm -(griffon via jetina is more difficult so its the best option to pick)

The boots are urugons you need - you also can do it with jetina but more pieces you do with jetina so more expensive it gets - so the third item of armor pieces could be just cheaper to buy at pen from marketplace later

Mainhand stay tuvala - go grind and get silver for a Tet blackstar or a Duo Godr

Thats about gear - also you can go grind for the infinity HP pot that is a nice item - the spots himself are not the best silver spot but the infinity pot is a nice item to get - there is also a MP version - but already - JUST the HP pot - then you have one of the Pot Pieces you can already make a small HP infinity pot - that is not possible for MP

4. No - already give you a info about it in my text above how to manage and have possibilities to play also other classes - the tagging you can retag also just reminder that this always cost marnis fuel - depend on your gearscore how much it cost - here also a guide about it https://grumpygreen.cricket/tag/

@feral violet Heyo one question did appear when I revisted why did you say I should lifeskill like cooking etc on a different char than my main? 😄

1. you dont need really do left your grindspot then you want to do something else
   also very nice then you have buffs running and want a grind break - you just swap char and can lifeskill
2. cooking as example ppl do selling cooking boxes - you can do that every day depend on the amount of your contribution points - you dont need to left your grindspot just to trade the boxes - bcs mostly cooking chars / lifeskillers are in the city you just take the boxes and hand over - nice also then you dont have time to play
3. then you later want to tagg 2 chars and copy gear - you are restricted in trading - very annoying for fishing as example or then MIGHT ONE DAY they finally buff trading and yo uwanna do that

Ahhh okay I get it 😄 and the best for lifeskill stuff would be a shai? If I remember it correctly so maybe next season I get one with fughar 😄

but in the end shai is still fine bcs of her weight passive in the end if you dont go for the max efficience
