#How active is largescale pvp, is it ran by fotm classes?

TLDR:
Is the pvp still active and thriving in every sphere, from the sieges to nodewars?
Would archer or valkyrie hold up for all apects pvp or will fotm classes always come out on top?
I'd be on the EU server if this makes any difference to activity.```
- PvP is still active, but maybe less so that a few years back. But currently there are some pretty big changes to the large scale scene being done, so it may change in the coming weeks. For a new player, these changes are rather positive though, as much of the large scale content is now gear capped, so you do not need to compete with endgame geared players as much.
- Valkyrie (at least awa) is a FOTM class for large scale and has been for years. You'll do fine. Archer and Succ Ranger are usually the top fraggers in NW/Siege, because of range and damage. You'll also do fine. There are only 3-4 classes that can compete with the usefulness of the classes youve chosen here, so there shouldnt be any class limitations for you.
- Meta and FOTM are hugely impactful in large scale. Maybe not as easily decided as "Opponent has 3 more of XX class, so theyll win", but a non meta comp against a meta comp, especially on gear capped nodes, basically has no chance of winning, unless the shotcalling and strategy and gameplay is godly.
