it says my message got deleted, one sec
Location/Region:
- currently in nyc, considering some schools there but i don't want to live at home + housing/living costs are ridiculous
- urban or suburban, i don't want to be in the middle of nowhere
- east coast preferred
Major:
- undecided, possibly pre-law or education?
GPA/Test Scores (optional):
- 3.9 UW, SAT: haven't taken yet but most recent practice was 1430, aiming for 1500+
Curriculum:
- good for students who have no clue what they want to do in the future
- preferably rigorous but not to the point of crying to sleep
- no grade deflation, i want to keep my options open for law school in the future
Size:
- doesn't really matter to me, i feel that i'll work well both ways
Costs:
- haven't really thought about it yet but my family is near poverty line so hopefully schools will cover most, if not all the cost? i don't know how financial aid works yet
Schools you're currently looking at (if any):
- john jay college of criminal justice (it's a cuny, either a safety or a target for me?)
- nyu (but ehhh, it's my mom's choice)
- princeton (and legit every other ivy league) bc it's princeton and my mom is chasing prestige (bonus that it's kinda close to the city)
- i'm a clueless first-gen
- are there schools with good merit aid?
Additional:
- i prefer coed colleges
- preferably a sizable lgbtq population or at least lgbtq friendly (both the school and the general area)
