Location/Region: Preferably a city or a suburb close enough to a city that kids often commute. I’d like to stay in the Northeast/Midatlantic of the US. Home is DC, and I don’t wanna be super far away.
Major: I’m probably going to go to law school. For undergrad I’m looking at PoliSci, PPE, or Public Policy
GPA/Test Scores (optional): 4.0 uw, my school doesn’t weight but it would probably be around a 4.7 (almost all AP classes). My first attempt at the SAT was 1510 (800 rw, 710 math). I’m retaking it in August to hopefully get a higher superscore.
Curriculum: I definitely want to feel challenged by my classes, but at the same time would like free time to pursue other things and do a little partying at least!
Size: I’m not sure about this. I think a lot of the SLACs seem too small for me, but I don’t really have a specific range I’m going for. I’m a very social and extroverted person so I would like the school to be really active socially (which might require more people).
Costs: I’d definitely like aid, but don’t need it especially for cheaper state schools (hence why basically all my safeties are public). I get 15k/yr as part of a dc program for kids to go to state schools.

Idk how much it matters but I’m Hispanic and a legacy at Princeton, Stanford, UVA (and Columbia maybe?). I know my ECs are pretty solid. I’d love tips with honors college or full ride programs at state schools, those seem really amazing.

If ur white I would suggest UVA, personally l'm not applying bc of all that Charlottesville stuff, but it COULD be a good fit for you

I'm applying because I'm a legacy and it is a really great state school (my school is probably nominating me for the jefferson scholarship program as well)
but I am also puerto rican and... yeah it makes me a little nervous
