hello! im a firstgen asian from colorado and really need help in building my college list, specifically some targets and reaches. i want to go to some good/challenging colleges without breaking the bank. ty in advance!

Location/Region: would prefer something more on the urban side. lots of things to do, restaurants, interesting places etc. i absolutely would not want to go to a totally rural college.
i would also want to attend places where i either know people/family in the state or i'm closer to my state. basically any place in the northwest/west and massachusetts.
Major: not exactly sure atm, but i am thinking computational biology, bioinformatics, comp sci, or premed (i want money)
GPA/Test Scores (optional): UW is ~3.9, weighted ~4.3. my SAT score was trash so im retaking it in august
Curriculum: i think i would want it to be pretty rigorous but nothing too crazy. i wanna be challenged.
Size: honestly no idea 😭 probably medium. i'm not much of a partier so attending an overly large school isn't a must for me. not really sure of the pros/cons when it comes to class size
Costs: unfortunately I am middle class so i will probably be needing aid
Colleges currently looking at: cu boulder, BU, washu, DU
Additional: i think political alignment is a lil important to me, but honestly any school that isn't 95% white male and isn't BYU is ok for me

that’s true - it doesn’t HAVE to as long as it’s close enough
