I am deciding between the two, and I just got off the waitlist for BU. BU is projected to be 90k a year while UPitt gave me 40k total aid and projected to be 51k a year. Is BU worth going for the 40k difference a year in tuition? I wouldn’t mind going to both, cost isn’t really an issue it’s just is it really worth going to BU for the 40k difference. #954425230896545792

That's a 160k difference over 4 years. I think Upitt would be better
No go to Pitt
Pitt
Update
Just got financial aid back
20k a year from BU
Now what are our thoughts
Now its 78k for BU
Pitt
Yes
Do you have a decent amount of money that u don't need to go into debt
Its 27k a year extra for BU. But I think it depends on the major you want to pick
Communications, media, International relations and finance BU might be worth it
IIRC median of BU is 10k a year more for fresh grads but it might just reflect the student body and location
Imo both options could be ok now
Maybe Pittsburg is better if I'm being honest since it costs 100k usd extra for BU
But if you have the money I think BU might be better
