Major : Computer and Information Technology with plans to CODO into (Electrical Engineering if possible) (may still get a minor in my initial major)
Similar: Great Campus, Have some family close in each area ( for Purdue I have family i can live with)
Costs: Howard 25k Purdue 40k (both per year) been told I shouldn't worry excessively about that

Purdue pros:
Higher ranked program for both major options
Less likely to transfer if i commit here
More family and friends not too far away from campus

Purdue cons: more expensive

Howard pros:
Cheaper
More freedom in switching my major

Howard cons:
May end up trying to transfer as soon as I get the chance
Less prestigious program
Less contact with people I already know
(NOTE by fall i'd already have Calc 1 and 2 credits while also having A level credits from last year so those wouldn't be involved in switching my major)
Tiebreaking considerations : Just need to know if that Purdue network is really as good as they say it is so i can feel more confident in my decision as I've been leaning more towards there., Last minute decision so any input helps alot. I have a good idea of which one i want but i have doubt in whether what i want is the correct choice.

The one benefit about howard is that because it's a smaller university you can get access to.Research a little easier than perdue because perdue has more competition through more engineers

#

It's a better idea at times to take the cheaper option

#

If you can afford purdue, I would say go to purdue

#

I will say it is hard to get into electrical engineering directly. Through a codo in purdue

#

You're gonna have to take a little more roundabout way

#

Where you're going to have the transfer into first year engineering, and then through that process transfer into electrical engineering

#

It's not even a guaranteed
