Be Detailed! I want a school that has a lot of diversity, my current highschool is just all Indians, and it has sort of been a weird ride these past 3 years! I also would love a cold weather, being down in florida since I was born has made me appreciate the rare cold weather we rarely get

I have a couple of extra curriculars but nothing major, I do plan to learn automation and somehow make a buisness analyst agent - This is a heavy duty task but I feel like its something unique I can learn
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I am so clueless..
Your stats are similar to mine, and I got into 3 really great schools (I was an English major though: the schools were Wake Forest, UW-Madison, and Davidson). Your stats are far from bad from any T60’s or higher. Here are some good schools to look at.
UW—Madison (It’s like 40% OOS acceptance rate)
Brandeis (MA)
Georgetown (Test Required in DC)
UVA (Selective but you never know)
UF and/or FSU should be on your list
Northeastern (also very selective but you never know)
Babson is like the Harvard for business you should def look into it (MA)
i think this is high risk, low reward. You'd be better of doing something directly in your community whether it's school or your city/town. Because even if you don't make forward or have a finished product for like volunteering or working a job or creating a new club at your school, colleges really only care about that journey of responsibility, leadership, curiosity, selflessness that participating in those activities inherently displays.
So I would prioritize those over anything else at this point. Especially because AI/coding is ok but it's very solitary and you lose out on all the other charactability that another EC could offer you.
At the same time to me it sounds like you might have those other experiences and you're maybe underplaying them?
The other thing I'll say there are a lot of low-cost summer programs for students interested in business that you can apply for which I think if it's low cost or free, is a worthwhile shorterm endeavor to do in a summer. Otherwise a summer job works just as great.
Basically with Florida Bright futures which is a phenomenal opportunity, I think it would come down to whether you can get close to a full tuition scholarship OR full financial aid if your family is eligible for that. Do the net price calculator for some schools you might be interested in and see how much financial aid you could get from them.
Maybe try the NPC's for CWRU, Lehigh, University of Rochester, Fordham, Drexel and see what you get. I'd also recommend looking into those schools to see how you like them.
Also consider Penn State, UMich, Indiana University, University of Cincinnati but these being state schools might have worse aid for OOS students.
University of Alabama and Univdrsity of Kentucky have good scholarships based on grades/test scores
I can confirm I’m from Kentucky
You’d be eligible for a possible full tuition scholarship with your SAT score
In-state definitely apply to UF, University of Miami, FSU, USF, UCF, FIU, Embry Riddle, Everglades University(?) and then decide from there
I do have some experience with community related projects, ran a thing freshman year where I gave school supplies to underprivileged students in the area. But after that year it like fell apart and I never continued
That's something you can still include for the 9th grade only.
Even still, I just meant something as simple as joining the local Red Cross, or trying to be a fire station volunteer, or a zookeeper, or or lifeguarding, or helping run a summer camp. It doesn't need to be you creating an NGO from scratch.
