Hi y’all, I’m having trouble deciding which school to apply to for ED2. I currently go to an international school in China. Any suggestions?

**Location/Region: ** United States. Preferably east coast.

Major: I'd like to explore a mix of different fields. Computer Science (or related), Economics, Philosophy, Political Science.

GPA/Test Scores:
G12 Quarter 1 GPA: 4.17
G12 Quarter 2 GPA: 4.22
G11 GPA: 4.27
G10 GPA: 4.10
G9 GPA: 3.95
Duolingo: 150/160
8 APs in total

Curriculum: Schools that let me mix multiple subjects and try things out

**Size: ** Would prefer a smaller class size

**Costs: ** No budget, my family can cover full costs.

Schools I'm looking at for ED2: Colby, Haverford, Washington & Lee (but I'm open to any other suggestions)

Applied (ED1): Swarthmore College

Applied (EA): University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Case Western Reserve University, Northeastern University, University of Richmond, University of Southern California, Stevens Institute of Technology.

Applied (RD): University of Washington Seattle, Wake Forest University, UC Berkley, UCLA, UCSD, UCI.

**Additional: ** I'm looking for smaller privates or liberal arts colleges for the most part. I would really like a place with lots of nature and that I can do outdoor activities. Good academics. Decent sports but not a priority (i play soccer & tennis but always open to try new things). I don't mind if the school is slightly remote as long as I can get the stuff I need, of course it would be nice if it's 20-30 minutes away from a big city but again I’m okay either way. I'm fine with cold weather but don't really want super long winters. I'm not looking to party or drink.

I'm Russian/Chinese (White/Asian) if that's relevant. I don't have US citizenship or a green card.

I got rejected from Swarthmore (ED1) and waitlisted for Case Western Reserve (EA).

Thanks.

I take it because you're making this post, you heard back from most of your ED/EA schools? Why do you want to apply ED II, are those your front-runners?

Ok, are you more interested in them than the other places you applied early to already and haven't heard back from yet?

Yes, I am hoping to attend a LAC.

Ok! I mean I don't think anyone can really tell you whch school to pick, but you should probably make a #954425230896545792 post, that can help you break down the pros/cons of each and which one you're leaning more towards to apply or what addtional information you would need before making your decision.

I like Colby college for you. Definitely don't apply to W&L - because it is need blind, your full pay status will do you no good.

Also check out URochester - it has flexibile gen Ed requirements so you could focus on courses in CS, econ, philosophy, and political science.
