Ok this is interesting according to the Dartmouth newspaper Dartmouth accepted 1,687 students with the expectation of enrolling 1.175 students allowing 512 students to say no likely without going to the waitlist. So my understanding is if more than 512 say no the waitlist will be used. If I'm wrong let me know what I misunderstood

The purpose of loci is to show u will def go there and are a good fit there. MIT cares about their yield so it’s not a good look to mention other competitive college acceptances. You should try to just talk about step preparation in terms of ur interest and stuff like that, if just mentioning step by itself is useless without mentioning the Cambridge acceptance, or hints at it, i may consider not adding that. Ultimately ur decision, u never know what admissions think.
