Regardless, you can literally negotiate against the aid that Columbia gives, you tell them you have extenuiating circumstances you explain something like my dad may make 200k but he isn't my custodial parent and doesn't provide any money and easy sauce your ass has more aid

I have always hated shakespeare and classics because on the state testing they make us do, I've been maxing out the prompts since like 8th grade. So I've read the same king lear excerpts a million times and it irritated me. Anyways reading shakespeare and actually breaking it down made me realize how much I actually love literature, which led me to strongly consider Columbia because of it's core curriculum rooted in the humanities and classics.

Basically my question is, should I put on like Hamlet and Their Eyes Were Watching God even though I read these for class, or should I find other books to put on that I read of my own volition
