i think Gentle was confused that over 80k applied and the class size is around 9k which led them to believe purdue has a 11% AR which is not true, its closer to 40%. I was saying that out of the 80k, somewhere around 36k would be offered admission for a 40% acceptance rate and out of that prob around 9k would accept. Here's the numbers from 2 years ago. Theres a differnece between being admitted and accepting admission into the university.

technically no, but the indy campus has like a fifth of the classes that the wl campus offers

so you’re gonna have to commute to wl almost daily

also afaik if a class is offered at the indy campus, you HAVE to take it at indy, so that makes for very tight schedules if you gotta commute

If you were accepted for the indianapolis campus, it is not possible to try and get accepted for the west lafayette campus

From what I have seen online, if you do want to do stuff on the technical side with business, Purdue could be a good choice. However, IU-Kelley is objectively the better business school and a good one as well. So, I would really think about what exactly you are looking to do and then decide which college to go to based off that.

They are both very good engineering schools, but I think cmu might be the better choice due to its location in comparison to Purdue. However, cmu is more costly I think, so maybe Purdue if you are concerned about cost. I would get other opinions though
