personally, i like to, after finishing a problem set and getting it graded, very carefully going back through it with the solutions and cross checking that
- I actually did it right and in a reasonable way
- I could feasibly explain how i solved it in words without reading off my paper
if there are things i had a hard time doing that with or i didnt feel great on, id do a few more problems from the book
if you have time constraints you can quicken this without too much loss by finding solution manuals online, and pretty quickly 'sketching' a soltuion and cross checking with the solution
rather than fully doing it

especially relevant nowadays
go to your prof or TA before you go to LLMs for assistance
