im prob not the best source, but ill give my 2 cents abt what ik for ai
so for the big ai labs, especially google, def cmu is a hard hard hard hitter. i know that google def hires straight from cmu, and ive heard that same goes for openai/anthropic. cmu has been a rly big name in ai for a long time, and they have an incredible ai program.
im not sure about yale or caltech, but u def cant go wrong with either of the three, congrats!!

AI is one of caltech’s faculty strongpoints in CS and caltech grads feed directly into FAANG like CMU lol
hmm okay thanks
I also got into berkeley EECS and gatech cs, would you say that CMU/caltech is better than those? I was concerned that because the schools were so big, there wouldn't be as many resources "per capita"
Someone else asked Berkeley vs cmu. My thoughts are in this thread but summary is that imo for the same cost cmu is the preferable option.https://discord.com/channels/786557653924708373/1364374294683058176
Btw you're definitely not going to make a "wrong" choice or set yourself up for failure with any of the options you have.
How's the cost considerations for you? I wouldn't say that any of these schools is worth paying more for.
