  1. Bard College has pretty much zero name recognition/prestige, while Oberlin is much more prestigious/ well respected. Oberlin will give you a better education and you’ll have better grad school prospects.

  2. It seems that you’re shying away from Oberlin because it’s in a conservative state. While that may be true, Oberlin is basically the most liberal school there is, and if you don’t go off campus, you’ll be surrounded by people that share your beliefs. However, it’s important to recognize that there are always people that may not share your beliefs and you just have to get along.

Oberlin also costs less so it’s honestly a no brainer
