Location/Region: City/Rural/Suburb? What country? Close to home or far away? And let us know what state you're in so we can recommend in-state schools!
I’m in the United States, I’m a VA Resident, and I am hoping to go somewhere far away from home. Preferably more than 2 hours away from home sounds ideal. I would love to be in an area that has strong college charm and a good social scene or in a big city.

Major: What would you want to major/minor in?
Major: Double Major in History & Public Health or Global Health
Minor: Spanish

GPA/Test Scores: Add your GPA and test scores if you'd like.
GPA: 4.0 UW (my school doesn’t do weighted GPAS), 4 AP Euro, 5 AP US History, 5 AP Lang, 5 AP Lit, 4 AP Bio, 5 AP Spanish Language. I hope to get my SAT up to a 1500-1510 and my ACT up to a 34-35.

Curriculum: Any specific classes you're looking for? They don't have to be major related! You can also include activities or clubs you’d want to be a part of on campus.
I’m hoping to take some classes in women’s history and have the opportunity to pursue history research during my undergraduate experience. I’d love to be apart of a student newspaper or literary magazine during my time in undergrad and involve myself with organizations that promote studying more about women in history.

Size: How large do you want your college/class sizes?
Small to Medium (up to like 70 is fine), But I hope that there will be opportunities to get to better know my college professors and have connections with those teaching my classes.
Costs: What's your budget (use units—is your budget just for one year, four years, tuition only, all inclusive)? Will you be needing aid?
My budget is around 50k per year, I’ll be applying for financial aid.

Schools You're Currently Looking At: What other schools are you thinking of applying to?
Duke (top choice), UVA (Second choice), NYU (Third choice), Washington & Lee, Harvard, Boston U, Boston College, Northeastern, Columbia, Barnard, Bryn Mawr, VCU (only because I have auto admit)

Additional: Any other factors that you want to mention? Anything that's specifically important or a deal breaker?
I really want a college that is focused on undergraduate experience and ensures that there are resources for students to be connected and foster strong relationships.

Be Detailed!
Okay, this may seem stupid, but I am a sucker for good college merch. I would love to go to a school that has strong “vibes” to it and has a unique connection to its identity as a school. I love schools that are a little bit quirky and have unique elements to them. I like schools that want to see the unique side of their students. I really would like to study abroad in Greece, Spain, or Japan during my time in college.

If you're interested in public health you should absolutely consider UNC!! Gillings is peak for public health and has a few options for undergrad depending on your interests in public health (Health Policy & Management, Biostats, Environmental Health Sciences, and Nutrition)
I was originally going to major in EHS, have friends in Gillings, and do coursework in Gillings, so I can speak a lot to that (even tho I'm bio/envsci lol)
We also have a Women's & Gender Studies major & minor if you are particularly interested in the intersection in like identity & women's experiences in public/global health (as well as majors/minors in history & public policy (and a minor in "health and society")
Undergrad research here is huge and the Gillings pre-professional (undergrad) community is super tight and def not something I've seen at any other school
