location/region: i live in texas but i’m gearing towards OOS (especially east coast but i’m also applying to some west coast, pnw schools). i’m honestly fine with suburban and city, not too rural where it’s in the middle of nowhere.
major: computer science and cognitive science, putting some schools down with a minor in philosophy and neuroscience as well (my perfect major is probably stanford’s symbolic systems)
gpa/test scores: 3.98/4.0 uw, 4.87 weighted, 1520 SAT (760M/760EBRW, highest at school)
size: really small to medium sized, mainly bc i went to a small liberal arts school
**costs: **family can’t afford too much (AGI < 60k) so i’ll primarily be relying on scholarships/loans
**schools you’re currently looking at: **MIT, harvard, princeton, yale, columbia, cornell, northeastern, rit, stanford, ut austin, ut dallas, udub, vanderbilt, duke, uchicago (you might be noticing the lack of safeties/targets)
**additional: **really interested in joining student groups and clubs, balanced education in the liberal arts, doing a study-abroad, don’t care too much about weather
