university of illinois, urbana champaign
Oh ill add that
i would also say that uiuc and purdue both dont have decent weather (at least for me)
and about the parties, most schools will have parties. purdue is a huge party school (except for cs and engineering lol), but you can def avoid them. its what you make of it
Have you done a Net Price Calculator for your colleges? I am noting this as GaTech, Purdue, and Michigan are public universities not in your state and would not have as good financial aid to hand out for you.
GaTech and Michigan are actually one of the few public universities that actually give decent aid to OOS Students(I myself am going to Michigan for free), but the aid is not as good as compared to top privates, and even then that type of aid typically works out better with those that are quite low income.
I recommend using the Net Price Calculator and see based on that estimate, is that an affordable option
In addition, although I understand your wish to get out of NY State, I still highly recommend that you still have some options in NY, as it would be best to have colleges in your state that you could hopefully attend to at an affordable price if things go south.
One good example is the University at Buffalo
Given costs are an important factor for you, it would be important but understanding for you to note that some preferences may not always hand out to your way.
Where do I find that
You can find it in the financial aid website of each college
Just type "[college name] net price calculator"
Okay thankyou
harvey mudd maybe?
I LOVE HARVYE MUDD
i dont know if they have aerospace eng as a major tho
AND its the most expensive college in the world
good point
UT austin, VA tech, NCSU, Embry Riddle
Also isn't the acceptance rate low?
Yeah ๐
I feel hopeless
Are my standards too high or something
My college prep teacher wants to me to have 15 colleges by the end of December so we can get process started
You will need a list of target and safeties.
You can have multiple targets?
I suggest at least 4 reach + 4 targets + 4 safeties
Thats 12 tho
I finally finished my list
I can only be so delusional
If you need aid, as an oos UCSD won't give much if any
Expect to pay like 80-90k
In general, publics wont give aid
This is a year btw
Surprised you left out Purdue, which is one the best aerospace program in the nation.
and a lot cheaper than others as OOS
So replace UCSD with purdue
