Location/Region: NY or Massachusetts first preference but anywhere's fine as long as it is near a city, weather's a bit on cooler side, good muslim community and foodie city.

**About me: **South Asian (Pakistan), FGLI

Major: Undecided but most likely Journalism, International Relations, Criminology as Major, Minor in Graphic Design or Media Studies

GPA/ Test Scores: 4A*, 4A and 2B in Olevels, Composite in Alevels but 3As at minimum expected (Bio Chem Phy because school offers sciences only), SAT yet to give but 1500+ expected. Top 40% of my class (16 students only so yea)

Curriculum: I'm fine with anything tbh but a curriculum where I can try out bunch of stuff.

Size: Fine with both large and small

Cost: 100% aid needed because I cannot afford much (fam of 5) ๐Ÿ’€

Schools I'm looking into for now (undecided list): NYU, Harvard, Columbia, Cornell

Amherst College also might be nice for you? 17th best non ivy in the US I believe. About 2h from Boston by bus. There is a mosque near-ish the town over in Hadley, and a Muslim student organisation there too. https://amherst.campuslabs.com/engage/organization/msa link to their muslim student organisation. There are many businesses in downtown amherst too as Amherst is a college town, and it is a short(-ish) bus ride from Northampton which also has a large amount of businesses to patronise. The bus to Northampton (and hadley - it's the same bus) is free for students always I believe.

Also Amherst College is in the same city as UMass Amherst (my dream school rn) so there are a lottt of uni students there during the uni season. In addition since it is in the five colleges consortium you can take classes at UMass Amherst, Smith, Mount Holyoke, or Hampshire.
