Location/Region: I'm an international so I have no idea what life is like in different states. I like schools surrounded by nature but I dont want to live anywhere thats too isolated/remote. Preferably in a city/close to one.
-
Major: Undecided but most likely CS, Engineering or Finance
-
GPA/Test Scores: 4A stars, 4A in O-Levels, 2A 2B in AS-Levels, 3A stars, 1A predicted A-Levels, 1540 SAT (790 RW, 750 M)
-
Curriculum: Not looking for any specific classes but as im mostly undecided on my major I'm looking for a school with an open curriculum or something like the pass/fail system or anything that lets me experiment with different classes and try out a bunch of stuff initially.
-
Size: Fine with either large or small schools.
-
Costs: I'm an international who will also be needing aid ๐ my EFC is approximately 18K USD.

Schools You're Currently Looking At:
Swarthmore ED (reach) (Meets full demonstrated need, pass/fail system, dedicated engineering program, beautiful campus)
UMiami (target) (Great campus, good student life, meets full demonstrated need, I have relatives in Florida which is a perk, good business school from what I've heard)
URochester (target) (meets full demonstrated need, open curriculum, T50)
URichmond (target) (meets full demonstrated need, LAC-style education is appealing to someone like me whos undecided on their major)
I'd prefer weather on the cooler side, but I can tolerate heat if everything else is up my alley. I've been a very reserved and introverted guy for most of my life so I'd like a school with a vibrant social life so I can actually come out of my shell. I'd also prefer schools that dont have soulless architecture.
