someone in rural iowa isn’t going to be expected to have done nearly as much as someone from say, new york city

just because there are (in general) more opportunities

and this applies for all matter of things

a non-citizen won’t be expected to have had a job or work in the government

and colleges are looking for the best in each region, so you have to take a look at your region and ask yourself how competitive it is, and how you stack up

so you could say something like “(first para) in high school i took x and y courses which then helped me do well on this test/competition (second para) in harvard i will continue by taking z and e courses (look @ offered courses in ur major) that will hopefully let me become whatever i wanna be

so definitely don’t make your entire essay abt it
