Gatech CS vs UW engineering undeclared

Schools: Georgia Tech vs University of Washington Seattle
Intended major: CS but UW is eng undeclared, i'd have to transfer into cs second year, 33% transfer admit rate from eng undeclared
Similarities: both good for cs

Gatech
Gatech Pros:

• i can go to cs straight away
  Gatech Cons:
• atlanta < seattle (tech scene, innovation, mindset, vibes, etc.)
• too southern for my taste
• too much greek life
• too focused on pure stem

UW
UW Pros:

• seattle amazon microsoft boeing
• west coast
  UW Cons:
• rain
• might not get cs (question: is it possible to end up placed in nothing? https://www.engr.washington.edu/current/engrud/policies#:~:text=Students may only participate in placement once and placement is final like what if i dont get into any of my choices? is that possible?)

Tiebreaking considerations:
btw, cost is not a consideration, i just want the better college experience (thanks dad and mom <3)

i think maybe gt if you want to do cs, risking not getting your major is pretty big

plus Atlanta is honestly such a cool city and yeah better weather>>> I don’t think Greek life is crazy big either hearing from people that have been, you can be totally fine without it
