#M17 Looking for some recs for CS colleges

  • Location/Region: I'm from Washington State, I will study anywhere inside of the US

  • Major: Computer Science

  • GPA/Test Scores: 3.83 UW Gpa, and 1400 SAT

  • Schools You're Currently Looking At: Some schools that i'm looking at are: The University of Washington, Oregon State University, and Umich

  • Additional: Something important that could help with my low gpa is that i'm an Eagle scout.

  • Be Detailed! Some preferences that I have for a college would be med/large, snowy winters so I can go snowboarding, and cool environments so I can explore the area. Also colleges that have a strong social aspect because I want to meet new people.

UWash and UMich are highly competitive for CS, I would suggest expanding your target and safetly list

Purdue is a good reach/target for CS

and has the kinda climate you are looking for afaik

so is UW madison I believe
