UCD v.s. UCI

So so far i got into these two schools and im thinking about these two about the housing. (thinking ahead fr)

UCD
intended major : art history

UCI
intended major : urban studies

UCD pros and cons
It is closer to my house so maybe i wouldn't need to pay dorm fees and could just live at my own house
However, i wont be taking good care of my house that good cuz im a lazy person

its cool school and yah its close to LA so it is more cool and fun
highly likelly i would be living in double or triple

I prefer to live alone so there it is. If i have to share room with others and go to public bathroom i would be legit miserable ( i went ot UCLA summer camp for a week and it was like that, i felt so miserable and would everyday shower at 5pm and ever go out after that. In the morning i would wake up at 6 because i could not sleep well)

I dont have any real advice, but

You likely wont be going to LA often; it's 1+hr away by car and even longer by public transit. have you ever been to the UCI campus? theres not much to do in the area unless you have a car, and the vibe of the campus may not be for you

yeah im from UCI area and I like never go to LA. all there is to do for fun in the area is to go out to eat food or shred at the beach since it's close to the wedge if youre into surfing/boarding
