  • Location/Region: I like suburbs, that’s where I’ve lived my life entire life but I’m not really picky. I like being close to the action so too rural is not necessarily my first choice. West/Rockies is close to me. OOS

  • Major: CS, computer engineering/other engineering (chemical, mechanical), poli sci (I don’t know I kinda just like it)

  • GPA/Test Scores: 4.0 (3.997) UW, 33 ACT first time, 35 second time

  • Curriculum: Medium amount of APs, almost all other classes are concurrent enrollment, most electives are leadership or tech related.

  • Size: Again, not too picky, but I’m used to classes of 25-35

  • Costs: Probably a bit of aid, especially if the sticker price is high, 2 working parents, my area avg income is 100k

  • Schools You're Currently Looking At: BYU, UCB, MIT, Stanford (I’m dreaming high I know),

  • Additional: Skipped a grade so I’m still 15 as a junior and I will defer for 2 years after my first year due to religious mission.

you should start by looking into schools that will actually let you defer ~twice~ and schools that will let you switch majors within the school of engineering/cs (CMU should be off your list cuz they are stringent about major switching into scs)
