  • Location/Region: Preferably city, but I'm ok with not. Somewhere with a good music scene. I live in NY, don't know if i want in state or out-of-state.

  • Major: Music, jazz performance, composition, but really undecided

  • GPA/Test Scores: 4.0, might go down to 3.9 depending on my end-of-year AP Physics C M grade (but hopefully not bc I'm on that grind ๐Ÿ’ช) also my school doesn't do a 4.0 scale so it's ~98
1510 PSAT, haven't taken the SAT yet (march 9th)

  • Curriculum: Linguistics, complit, philosophy, music production, music business, Portuguese, constructed languages, classics

  • Size: Not insanely huge

  • Costs: I will be needing aid

  • Schools You're Currently Looking At: Manhattan School of Music, New England Conservatory, NYU, Columbia, USC Thornton, CalArts, Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins, University of Miami Frost School of Music, Tufts, Berklee, Juilliard, SUNY Purchase, New School, William Patterson

  • Additional: I don't know if i should overload my schedule with hard classes next year if I'm going to music school, but maybe I should anyway just in case (I like the challenge but then I'll have less time to practice piano). I've won a lot of awards and competitions for music stuff and maybe non-music schools would like that. I don't want to only play jazz or only hang out with jazz musicians. I also produce music and want to pursue that during college.
