3 A's 1b on my AS level examinations , don't know my predicted grades but likely similar since our school deflates predicted grades
Decent EC's
3 research projects , 2 internships and fillers

Laffayette pros

Easier to get into
They have a great scholarship program where I've written a good essay for
Generous with aid (average aid package 64k usd)
The interview went really well and is (important) on Its CDS
Cons: Not as many research opportunities/funding as Bates

Bates pros
Easier application (won't need to write an essay)
Demonstrated interest is high

Bates cons:
Slightly less aid in total (although the average is higher )
More competitive
Can't interview

Rejected from Amherst Ed , and Case Western EA

And I'm sure you'll figure the research/"opportunities" thing out once in college

I might be a little biased because i'm closer to Lafayette but Lafayette is closer to a lot of metro centers (philly, NYC) compred to Bates so you could probably get a lot more research/internship opportunities around the area

I had better stats and similar/better ECs than you, AND an EXCELLENT interview (I genuinely loved it) and I still got rejected from Middlebury RD

Some aid-seeking internationals have insane profiles and get rejected because of their financial need

If you like it though, why not I guess

Lafayette just seems more reasonable and has less applicants

Nonetheless probably incredibly competitive
