Northeastern EA v Yale REA

Hi,

I’m a junior and I’m trying to plan ahead my application timeline. I wanted to ask if I should apply early to northeastern or Yale. I’ll still be able to apply to my local university since it’s public. I’m interested in both since they offer good humanities opportunities, but I have 6 Bs (2nd semester soph and 1st semester junior) due to family obligations and my own mental health.

I don’t want to waste an early action decision, which do you propose?

yale is pretty strict about grades so realistically unless you have insane ECs and beautiful essays its gonna be very tough

id do northeastern

and obviously with that shoot your shot at other privates EA

although northeastern EA is not 30% considering they defer majority to RD

their ED is around 30-35% but then you’d have to go to that school unless like u don’t get into your first choice for campus
