Schools: Kennesaw State, Georgia State, West Georgia, UGA

I have considered these schools as my primary candidates for a CS degree, all within the state of Georgia to avoid paying out of state tuition. I will be trying to find all the financial aid and grants that I can, avoiding loans unless absolutely necessary. I will also plan in working either on campus or a place close to it so that I can make some money to try and support my mother when I am away.

uga is probably the best of the three in terms of overall georgia college rankings (1. emory, 2. tech, 3. uga, 4. gsu...)

#

idk i live in georgia too, i would probably pick uga out of all of those. i think you would have the best chance at some work too that could also be connected to your major and give you experience + money

#

but also if you could get into tech, maybe give that a try? it's more expensive but i think the trade off for the prestige and better career opportunities in the future would be beneficial

#

i think KSU probably has the cheapest credit per hour cost though

So far I've only been able to go off of net price calculators, and I know they aren't guaranteed estimates, but so far UGA has given me the 2nd lowest costs out of all the schools considered, first being Georgia State

I've kinda gravitated to KSU, the campus looks nice
GSU seems like the lowest cost option, but I can't figure out for certain until I can get official costs (and if I can remember to)

#

I would absolutely need on campus residence, considering they're all close to two hours from where I live (with the exception of West Georgia, which would be closer to 3) and I sure as hell ain't commuting that lmao

If you get into UGA from my very limited knowledge but I have visited both UGA/KSU, UGA appears many times nicer than KSU
