You could probably look at your first can for Alabama as more of a pro (or neutral)
If people are too busy partying, there should be more spaces around campus and at the libraries

It may also be important to compare salaries in general in Alabama vs Texas, because the grad salary may be lower due to regional stuff and not the school

#

You may want to look at each schools career center as well, although I'm not sure how much info that'll get you for networking and internships
