umich you should be fine doing RD. I might consider UNC, Case Western, Northeastern, Tufts, University of Washington, University of Notre Dame, Washington University in St. Louis

unless it's a top-tier private, you'll almost always be better off going to a t20 public for cs

also uw-madison doesn't have the same EA boost as purdue and uiuc do. if you're short on time, this is how i'd recommend prioritizing: purdue = uiuc = umd > umich > madison in terms of EA boost

yep but not as well-known for cs so it ends up being p equivalent to t20 publics
