International freshman at Duke considering to transfer bc financial issues

How is double majoring in Northwestern? In Duke, both majors are in Trinity, but in Northwestern math is in Weinberg and CS is in McCormick. Which requirements are needed?

Duke pros:

  • School spirit (?)
  • Half credit class for preparing Putnam Olympiad

Northwestern pros:

  • In Chicago

  • Consider better financial situation

  • Both similarly ranked

  • I don't know which is better for this double major

  • Is NU's quarter system a pro or a con?

duke double major is insanely easy

btw at northwestern CS is offered in both mccormick and weinberg

and although it may be slightly different i’m pretty sure applied math is offered in mccormick as well

and cs + math is a very common double major, so i’m pretty sure you’d be able to do it quite easily here

i don’t know too much about duke or if it’s worth transferring for, but thought i’d give my input
