  • Location/Region: Big city/medium-sized college town (at leask 30k pop.) not anywhere too dry (such as arizona). from alaska so i do not mind snow or cold weather at all. would prefer if the college is located near an NFL/NBA city

  • Major: Biology (i might minor in german)

  • GPA/Test Scores: 4.0 UW, 4.3 weighted
probably going test-optional (might take the SAT but won’t be taking it too seriously; i won’t study for hours on end; i’d aim for like a 1300-1400 which i’d think is pretty doable for me)

  • Curriculum: nothing specific ig

  • Size: idrk

  • Costs: as long as there’s good student aid; somewhere i can get at least some scholarships for

  • Schools You're Currently Looking At: washington, washington state, oklahoma, florida (safeties: eastern washington, georgia southern)

  • Additional: dealbreaker— not a D1 school (i need D1 sports teams to cheer for)

miscellaneous

housing: at least decent quality, free wifi, all the standard stuff pretty much. would prefer single dorm

Diversity: would prefer to have some diversity but idc if there isn’t much

Weather: cloudy, rainy (i hate sunny weather, but i also hate like storms and such) (i’m from alaska so i don’t mind snow)

Coastal/inland: doesn’t matter

Architecture: don’t mind

Color scheme: don’t mind

Mascot: as long as it isn’t outrageously stupid i don’t mind (like i don’t want to be called a pencil shaving or a yellow fire hydrant)

Music ensembles: I would want a no-audition concert band so i can “ease” into college level music. (i’ve been in band for years and I want to continue, but I’m from Alaska and Alaska is far behind the contiguous united states band-wise. i’m all-state level in Alaska but that is equivalent to like an average player in any other state; i would probably not make it into any of the top bands sadly).
