  • Location/Region: preference for urban, either north/east coast or west coast!

  • Major: CS, EECS, cognitive sciences/cognition, applied math, computational neuro, and emphasis on AI

  • GPA/Test Scores: 3.99 UW, 4.8 W (can DM for EC's), ~1570 SAT (will be re-testing)

  • Curriculum: classes pertaining to data science, analysis, and ethics, but with a good balance of the humanities (not solely STEM-concentrated)

  • Size: <10,000, coming from a small school with a preference for smaller classes

  • Costs: will need financial aid, not sure what reasonable cost would be

  • Schools You're Currently Looking At: UT austin, university of washington, uc berkeley, UT dallas, CMU, brown, cornell, harvard, mit (dream dream school), stanford, georgia tech, caltech, uchicago, need more target/safeties...

  • Additional: preferring a school with some idiosyncrasies in campus culture! also research/internship opportunities, and a campus that's city-based (or very close to the city)

  • Be Detailed! not too too many preferences, though i would love to be surrounded by good architecture, dormitories, and professors! would also consider going international, depending on opportunities/aid

Rice is great for premed/neuro and cs outcomes and also has good aid. Fits all the criteria and stuff being in Houston

yep, cs is technically my top, neuro is just a side interest while i continue exploring :) ai ethics is really more of my interest, which it why MIT eecs is also intriguing
