It depends on ultimately WHY you didn't attend UVA if you are looking for this route. If you are not attending UVA (or got rejected) due to a lack of academic rigidity/prowess, you aren't going to succeed at UVA from a transfer unless you take it upon yourself to seriously improve. Like Lyrics said, UVA's curriculum is far more time consuming and intellectually bearing than any CC in VA.

You'd be better off transferring to somewhere like VT unless you show significant improvement in academics
